The Association organises professional learning for geography teachers, designed to assist teachers to implement changes in Geography Syllabuses and to provide teachers with an opportunity to refresh their professional teaching by sharing ideas for classroom and fieldwork activities and hearing about current developments in geographical education.

This course will help to develop stronger learning activities through appreciation of the key concepts of place, space & environment. It examines 7 key concepts from the Aust. Curriculum & NESA Geography Syllabus K–10.

This course will help to develop stronger learning activities through appreciation of 4 key geography concepts of interconnection, scale, sustainability & change. It overviews the 7 key concepts from the National Curriculum but focuses on the above.
