Presented by Christian Bell
Christian was a popular presenter at the GTA conference earlier this year with a similar workshop. Once again, he will provide a comprehensive guide and practical tips on how to engage students and build their understanding of urban areas, change & issues through experiential learning, meet syllabus requirements- outcomes and content related to geographical research, skills and content knowledge and complete fieldwork despite logistical and financial constraints
PRESENTER PROFILES:
Christian is the HSIE Coordinator (History, Geography & Aboriginal Studies) at Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham where he has taught History and Geography for over a decade; and firmly believes in the importance of getting students out of the classroom to experience the world around them as part of studying Geography. He has worked to develop engaging fieldwork and hands on learning experiences for Geography students.
A recording of the webinar will be available for fourteen (14) days following the webinar
